Significant PEM experience post-qualification. Completion of ACCS competencies (CT1–3) or 36 months equivalent training. EM Training Programme with PEM sub-specialist qualification (RCEM or RCPCH). Valid ALS and EPALS/APLS; ATLS/ETC desirable. Proven competence in paediatric emergency assessment, procedures and advanced life support. Strong leadership, organisation, communication and teaching skills. Desirable RCEM membership. Experience supervising junior medical and nursing staff.
