About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Consultant Medical Microbiologist to become a valued member of the team at NHS Scotland.
You'll join a dynamic and supportive team of two other Consultants, responsible for delivering a comprehensive Microbiology service and supporting our Infection Prevention and Control service.
For those with a joint Microbiology/Infectious Diseases background, there are additional opportunities to contribute to the Infectious Diseases service, including ward-based duties and Out-Patient Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) clinics.
Job Plan and Benefits:
The consultant job plan is flexible and open to negotiation upon appointment. The Microbiology on-call commitment follows a 1 in 4 rota, conducted remotely with a comprehensive home working package provided. You'll enjoy the benefits of working from home, with payment and time-back for on-call duties.
