Consultant in Haematology
A large, established NHS organisation is seeking a Consultant Haematologist to join a motivated and expanding team. This full-time post offers flexibility in job planning and the opportunity to develop a specialist interest. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced consultant team to further strengthen haematology services across several sites.
Applicants must have full GMC registration, a licence to practise, and be on (or within 6 months of entry to) the Specialist Register.
Main Duties
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient haematology services.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across acute, community, and tertiary services.
Participate in the on-call rota and provide cross-cover when required.
Contribute to service development, clinical governance, teaching, and MDT participation.
Service Overview
The organisation delivers haematology care across multiple hospital sites, including clinics, day units, and diagnostic services. Facilities include bone marrow biopsy, chemotherapy administration, venesection, nurse-led anticoagulation clinics, and access to regional MDTs and specialist pathways. Paediatric liaison and transfusion support are integrated through regional networks.
Person Specification (Essential)
Broad training and experience in haematology.
Ability to independently manage patient care and provide expert clinical opinion.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Participation in audit and governance activity.
Experience in teaching.
Required qualifications: MBBS/equivalent, MRCP/equivalent, FRCPath/equivalent, and CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months).
Desirable
Specialist interest, research experience, management experience, and evidence of service improvement.

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join a dynamic and supportive team within a modern district general hospital in the East Midlands.
Role Details:
Position: Fixed Term Consultant (Anaesthesia)
Contract: 12 months
Salary: Up to £145,478 per annum
You’ll be working in a busy Anaesthetic Department providing services for a range of high-volume, low-risk procedures across orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, ENT, and maxillofacial surgery.
The hospital has around 128 beds and offers a friendly working environment with excellent facilities. The surrounding area is well known for its great schools, historic market towns, and beautiful countryside, as well as easy access to London (around one hour by train).

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Geriatrician to join a progressive and supportive team at a well-established NHS Foundation Trust in the East Midlands region.
The Trust is looking for a motivated clinician with a passion for elderly care and service innovation. The post supports the development of specialist interest areas alongside acute and community geriatric medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care on inpatient wards and frailty assessment units
Lead or contribute to specialist clinics (e.g. falls, frailty, cognitive disorders)
Provide acute and community-based elderly care input
Take part in the General Internal Medicine on-call Rota (where applicable)
Offer leadership and collaborative input to multidisciplinary teams
Participate in quality improvement, audits, research, and teaching
Person Specification
Essential:
Full GMC registration with a license to practice
Entry on the GMC Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT at interview)
Extensive experience in Geriatric and/or General Internal Medicine
Proven leadership in a multidisciplinary environment
Active participation in clinical governance and CPD
Desirable:
Interest in a sub-specialty (e.g. frailty, stroke, movement disorders, dementia)
Background in QI, service development or digital innovation
Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching
