What You’ll Do
Deliver the full range of diagnostic radiology services (CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain film)

Consultant in Haematology
A large, established NHS organisation is seeking a Consultant Haematologist to join a motivated and expanding team. This full-time post offers flexibility in job planning and the opportunity to develop a specialist interest. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced consultant team to further strengthen haematology services across several sites.
Applicants must have full GMC registration, a licence to practise, and be on (or within 6 months of entry to) the Specialist Register.
Main Duties
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient haematology services.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across acute, community, and tertiary services.
Participate in the on-call rota and provide cross-cover when required.
Contribute to service development, clinical governance, teaching, and MDT participation.
Service Overview
The organisation delivers haematology care across multiple hospital sites, including clinics, day units, and diagnostic services. Facilities include bone marrow biopsy, chemotherapy administration, venesection, nurse-led anticoagulation clinics, and access to regional MDTs and specialist pathways. Paediatric liaison and transfusion support are integrated through regional networks.
Person Specification (Essential)
Broad training and experience in haematology.
Ability to independently manage patient care and provide expert clinical opinion.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Participation in audit and governance activity.
Experience in teaching.
Required qualifications: MBBS/equivalent, MRCP/equivalent, FRCPath/equivalent, and CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months).
Desirable

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine to join a high-performing NHS Emergency Department. The role combines frontline paediatric emergency care with leadership, education, and governance responsibilities. You will drive clinical quality, deliver senior decision-making for all paediatric attendances, and support the development of a modern, child-friendly emergency service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver consultant-led paediatric emergency care, including assessment, stabilisation and early management of acutely ill or injured children.
Lead PEM service development, safeguarding, and clinical governance activity.
Provide teaching, supervision and support for trainees, ACPs and nursing teams.

Proven competence in paediatric emergency assessment, procedures and advanced life support.
Strong leadership, organisation, communication and teaching skills.

The role combines inpatient specialty care, acute medical take, and delivery of specialist clinics. You will play a central role in the expansion of inpatient diabetes pathways, diabetes technology, and advanced endocrine services, working within a well-supported MDT.
Key Responsibilities
Lead inpatient diabetes and endocrine care, providing rotational specialist ward cover.
Deliver outpatient clinics across general diabetes, complex diabetes, antenatal diabetes, insulin pumps, and general endocrine conditions.
Support development of specialist services including renal diabetes, adrenal/pituitary pathways, lipid disorders, and thyroid care.
Participate in acute medical on-call and specialty in-reach referrals.
Contribute to governance, service redesign, audit, teaching, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Criteria

CCT/CESR in Diabetes & Endocrinology or within 6 months of completion.
