Sports & Exercise Medicine Consultant (Part-Time (4.75 PAs), Substantive or Fixed term 12 month locum post) Applications are invited for a part-time Consultant in Sports & Exercise Medicine to join a well-established SEM service. This is a replacement post aimed at expanding clinical provision across hospital, community, and specialist centre sites. **Role Overview** * Deliver specialist outpatient clinics across multiple sites, supported by trainees and allied health professionals. * Contribute to training, supervision, and mentorship of SEM trainees and colleagues. * Engage in clinical governance, service development, audit, and research. * Participate in projects including the National Rehabilitation Centre, Moving Medicine, and Active Health. * Support integration of physical activity into patient care pathways. **About the Service** The department has been running for over 25 years, with a dedicated team of SEM consultants providing adult and paediatric MSK clinics and contributing to regional and national initiatives. **Person Specification** * GMC registration. * Demonstrated competence in managing acute and chronic SEM presentations. * Strong commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, education, and governance. * Flexibility to work across hospital, community, and academic sites. * Desirable: higher degree, experience as a team physician, or prior leadership roles.

The Trust is looking for a motivated clinician with a passion for elderly care and service innovation. The post supports the development of specialist interest areas alongside acute and community geriatric medicine.
