About the Role

We're excited to invite applicants to join a dynamic Dermatology team in North Yorkshire.

We’re looking for dermatologists to join our fantastic group of 10 Consultants. The  NHS Trust offers a full range of general dermatology services, with two dedicated dermatological theatres and facilities for PDT, phototherapy, and patch testing. They also have day case theatres for more complex surgical procedures.

The department includes a team of specialist nurses who work on dermatological surgery, skin cancer clinics, and managing chronic inflammatory diseases. They are also supported by an associate specialist, two Specialty Registrars, three GPVTS Trainees, and a physician’s assistant.

There are strong connections with other specialties, like Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Rheumatology, making collaboration easy and effective.

The dermatology team is very active in research, with both industry-sponsored and in-house projects supported by research nurses

The job involves undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and participating in the daytime on-call rota.

Applicants should have a higher medical qualification (like MRCP or equivalent). You  must also have a full licence to practice with the GMC.

The  NHS Foundation Trust serves around 800,000 people across the area.
