Your Role

As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding care for patients with dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer.
  • Lead Fast Track Clinics, outpatient appointments, and procedure lists.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and oversee urgent inpatient referrals during working hours.
  • Provide training and mentorship to nurses, junior doctors, and medical students.
  • Offer guidance and support to local GPs, GPSIs, and trainees.

What We’re Looking For

Expertise in medical dermatology and dermatological surgery.
Essential Qualifications:

  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (or equivalent).
  • Full GMC registration 
  • Ideally specialist registration or nearing submitting your CESR or completing Specialty Training.

Acute Medicine - Locum Consultant Substantive Consultant

We are looking for applicants to join an expanding team of Acute Medicine Consultants who are interested in progressing our journey of service development and innovative working within Acute Medicine. Acute Medicine works closely with the Emergency Medicine team and all Medical Specialities, and you will be involved in the development of clinical processes to improve patient outcomes and experience. The successful applicant, along with the other Acute Medicine Consultants, will be responsible for the care of patients on our Acute Medicine Unit and Acute Medicine Assessment Centre (Assessment and SDEC/Ambulatory care). You will be supported by a full multi-disciplinary team, which includes a junior medical team and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. The Trust has a strong Medical Education department, and the post holder would have a significant educational role, particularly in educational supervision of our IMT doctors and students.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in Acute Medicine and we would entertain applicants seeking to work in Acute Medicine and another specialty.   Consultant Geriatrician (fixed term contract) A forward-thinking NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Geriatrician to join and further develop its evolving Frailty Unit within a dynamic Acute Geriatric Service. This new role addresses the growing demand for specialist, multidisciplinary care for older patients with complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily senior reviews on the frailty unit Opportunity to pursue special interests (e.g. pre-operative assessment, oncogeriatrics) Work alongside a team including ACPs, frailty-trained nurses, and junior doctors About the Service: The unit currently has 19 beds and is transitioning to a 16-bed model with 4 ambulatory chairs to support rapid assessment. Responsibilities: As an integral part of the Acute Medicine team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients within the Acute Medical Unit which has 38 beds. Collaboration with a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team, including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, experienced nursing staff, physiotherapy and pharmacy services. Requirements: Extensive experience in Acute Medicine. GMC registration. Advantageous to be on the specialist register or due to complete CCT or CESR (in Acute Medicine or General Medicine with a special interest) within 6-12 months.
