Position Details:

  • Location: Community Paediatric Service, North West UK.
  • Permanent, full-time basis.
  • No on-call or acute responsibilities attached.
  • Opportunities for integrated approach to child health wider Trusts.

Job Summary:

  • Experience in all aspects of community paediatrics, including child development, ASD, ADHD, neuro-disability, and more.
  • Ability to work independently within a supportive team.
  • Opportunities for career progression and personal development through mentoring, appraisal, and job planning.
  • Regular team meetings to facilitate service and personal development.
  • Opportunity to contribute to shaping future services.

About You:

  • Full valid Registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (or equivalent).
  • Capable to work at Consultant level in Community Child Health.
  • Ability to work independently and offer expert clinical assessment and management.
  • Proven experience in clinical audit, medical education, and multi-professional training.
  • Understanding of NHS management structure and ability to prioritize and organise workload.
  • Good written and oral communication skills and experience in working in a multidisciplinary team.
