Contract: Locum Consultant – Fixed Term
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Neuroradiology to join a busy NHS Radiology Department. The successful applicant will support the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services and contribute to the development of specialist neuroradiology provision.
Key Responsibilities

Provide a full range of diagnostic radiology services including CT and MRI

Deliver subspecialty reporting in Neuroradiology

Participate in the on-call Rota, with additional remuneration for IR cover

Contribute to MDT meetings, audit, research and clinical governance

Engage in teaching and supervision of junior doctors and medical students

Cross-cover colleagues during periods of leave
Candidate Requirements
-
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
-
Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR)

Full GMC registration with license to practice

Broad experience in general radiology, including CT and MRI

Subspecialty interest in Neuroradiology (experience in Interventional Radiology desirable)
