- MRCP and one of the following:
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Respiratory Medicine
- Within 6 months of CCT date
- CESR (Portfolio Pathway) application already submitted or approved at the time of application
- Proven, independent clinical experience in Respiratory Medicine at Consultant level
- Participation in GIM on-call Rota is essential (1:16 weekdays & 1:8 weekends)
- A clearly structured CV demonstrating required experience and competencies

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective, and high-quality anaesthetic services across a variety of surgical specialties.

Maintain active involvement in CPD and continuing medical education.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and safety.
Essential Criteria
Full and Specialist Registration (and Licence to Practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC), or eligibility within 6 months.
FRCA or equivalent qualification.
Completed specialist training or CESR in Anaesthesia.
Minimum 5 years of supervised anaesthesia training (SpR equivalent).
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
Proven ability to manage complex clinical workloads effectively.
Desirable
Experience in anaesthesia for high BMI patients.
Evidence of participation in teaching, audit, or research.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
