Person Specification Essential Criteria: GMC registration with a license to practise Substantial experience in managing acute medical conditions in hospital settings Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care Experience in teaching and supervising junior medical staff Evidence of involvement in audit, clinical governance, or quality improvement Excellent communication and teamwork skills Desirable Criteria: Subspecialty interest aligned with the department’s needs Experience in Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Completion of teaching or postgraduate education qualifications Published research or evidence of research involvement Prior experience in the NHS as a consultant or senior clinician We warmly welcome applicants working towards CESR.
