Consultant Haematologist – 12 Month Fixed Term (View to Extend)
Midlands | Tertiary NHS Setting
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Haematologist to join a well-established NHS Haematology service on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
This post is ideally suited to experienced Haematologists seeking UK consultant-level exposure within a structured and supportive department.
The Opportunity
- 12-month Fixed-Term Consultant contract (extension anticipated)
- Broad clinical exposure across a busy Haematology service
- Established MDT structure and governance framework
- Supportive consultant team environment
- CESR / Portfolio Pathway (PP) support for suitable candidates
Candidate Requirements
- Full GMC Registration (essential at time of application)
- Strong clinical experience in Haematology at consultant-equivalent level
- Ability to work independently within an NHS-style service
- Commitment to audit, governance, and service development
International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with appropriate GMC registration are encouraged to apply.
Please note: GMC sponsorship is not available for this role at Locum Consultant level under current Trust agreements.
