🔹 Role Overview
General ENT clinical duties with a special interest in Otology / Ear Surgery
Participation in the ENT on-call Rota (non-resident; in-person attendance is rare)
Involvement in specialist clinics, service development, and teaching
Close working with Audiology and Maxillofacial teams
Strong consultant and junior doctor support
🔹 Working Arrangements
One main base hospital
Some travel required to other hospitals within the same NHS Trust
Structured services with strong cross-site collaboration
🔹 On-Call
Non-resident on-call
Prior ENT on-call experience essential
On-call is rarely in person
🔹 Essential Criteria
✅ Full GMC registration
✅ Consultant-level experience in ENT
✅ Special interest or experience in Otology / Ear Surgery
✅ Proven ENT on-call experience
✅ Ability to work across multiple hospital sites
✅ Excellent communication and MDT working skills
