The role combines inpatient specialty care, acute medical take, and delivery of specialist clinics. You will play a central role in the expansion of inpatient diabetes pathways, diabetes technology, and advanced endocrine services, working within a well-supported MDT. Key Responsibilities Lead inpatient diabetes and endocrine care, providing rotational specialist ward cover. Deliver outpatient clinics across general diabetes, complex diabetes, antenatal diabetes, insulin pumps, and general endocrine conditions. Support development of specialist services including renal diabetes, adrenal/pituitary pathways, lipid disorders, and thyroid care. Participate in acute medical on-call and specialty in-reach referrals. Contribute to governance, service redesign, audit, teaching, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Criteria Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise. CCT/CESR in Diabetes & Endocrinology or within 6 months of completion.
