About Me

Low key - big impact.

Rob brings real-world experience to both sides of our business: Cubed Talent and our sister organisation, Indigo Healthcare Recruitment.

Having trained as a clinical nurse in the NHS - Rob went on to serve as a medic in the RAF for many years. He was deployed around the world in general operations, conflict and humanitarian situations.

After leaving the services, Rob was an early adopter of emerging technologies.

He helped co-found Pace Micro Technology, which later became Pace plc, a FTSE-listed technology business and one of the leading R&D and manufacturing companies in cable and satellite broadcasting technology.

Responsible for manufacturing facilities and operations across the UK, Europe and the Far East - Rob brings a deep, first-hand understanding of the challenges that come with technical, high-volume, multi-site manufacturing.

Whilst at Pace - Rob and his team designed, developed and created a specialist training entity - helping to reskill many 100’s of people - so that they could benefit from the meteoric rise in demand within the consumer electronics sector - which became dominant across the North of England at the time.

Since Pace, Rob has invested in, help lead and has worked with local authorities, Gov and health and social care providers.

His main focus now is providing robust governance and oversight across Cubed and Indigo, and mentoring our next-generation succession team - with both Jess Heywood and Stella Redgrave-Nevison now very much as the helm.

Rob holds several roles - as Chairman, Trustee with organisations in the third sector. A passionate advocate for former armed forces - training/reskilling, rehabilitation and support into vocational work - for service leavers.
