About the Role: We're seeking a Consultant or Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine with an additional leadership opportunity as the Head of Acute Medicine (a 2 PA role + £10K responsibility payment, 3-year term). With a state-of-the-art Same Day Emergency Care department, a spacious Acute Medical Unit, and a Short Stay Unit, you'll work alongside a team of Consultants, Registrars, junior doctors, ACPs, and Physician Associates. It’s a fast-paced environment full of learning opportunities, supported by trainees and students. Why Join? You’ll lead daily reviews of medical patients, oversee clinical teams, and ensure patients get the right care, first time. Plus, you’ll be part of a service focused on continuous improvement and achieving national and local standards.
