On Wednesday 26
th September, we held a twist on our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning – enlisting the help of a number of students from Beechcliffe Special School.
The Beechcliffe students did a fantasic job serving cakes and refreshments, welcoming guests and even helped us clear up afterwards!
In return, we will be hosting an employability workshop for the post-16 students, in part as a thank you for their help, and also as part of our commitment to encouraging and supporting disability employment – Work Transforms Lives.
On the day, we raised a brilliant £175 for Macmillan.
We like to extend a huge thank you to all the Beechcliffe students and all those people who took time out of their day to join and support us and donate to Macmillan.
