Now you have an NHS job offer confirmed, you will need to arrange your transport to the UK, the shipping of your belongings and your transport from the airport when you arrive. Here's what you need to know...

Flights:
Skyscanner is a great tool to get the best prices on flights around the world.

You’ll need to decide which airport is best for you to fly into, depending on the area you are moving to. Not all airports take international flights, so you are usually best looking at the larger airports such as Heathrow or Manchester.

Transport from the Airport:
Once you arrive in the UK, you will need to get from the airport to your new location. Depending on the distance from the airport to your accommodation will determine how you travel. Most airports have train or bus connections or if you are close enough you may be able to get a taxi.

Shipping your Belongings:
If you're moving a small amount of belongings airfreight is the quickest way to do it. This method is typically not cost-effective for large moves, so often people send a small shipment of the essentials by air with the rest to follow by sea.

If you are moving a large amount of belongings, sea shipping will be your most cost-effective way to get your items to the UK. You could exclusively hire a shipping container or use a shared container – more information about these options can be found here.

Local directories are a great way to find companies that serve your area:  If you need any assistance booking your flights, transport or shipping, please get in touch with your Indigo Healthcare contact.
